Off Broadway Angels welcomes grant applications from theatrical organizations with 501(c) 3 tax status, or individuals/groups affiliated with 501(c) 3 status. 501(c) 3 status is a requirement. Off Broadway Angels looks beyond the traditional organization of theater companies, and invites participation from individuals and groups possessed of exciting, different, unique, and even exotic imaginings. We have particular interest in funding developmental work. Generally Off Broadway Angels grants are modest in size, and given to small organizations with annual budgets of less than $500,000. Examples of recent funding include organizations such as New Dramatists, Actor's Center, Intar, and Workshop Theater. Other examples of underwriting individual projects such as "My Name is Harriet Tubman" and readings of new works.
